Responsibilities
Conduct objective, thorough, and timely internal investigations and recommend appropriate actions
Review termination actions for accuracy, consistency, and legal risk
Provide guidance, training, and coaching on corporate policies, procedures, and best practices
Collaborate with Legal, Finance, and IT teams to ensure compliance
Maintain accurate documentation, case files, and HR records; prepare management reports
Identify trends, risks, and recurring employee relations issues and communicate insights to leadership
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree
7+ years of progressive HR experience, with strong expertise in employee relations and investigations
Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws
Excellent judgment, discretion, communication, and collaboration skills
Must be based in the Central Time Zone / Midwest
Preferred
SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP
Workplace Investigator Certification
Experience supporting a multi-state, multi-location organization
