Research Technician, Cellular Therapies
Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center is dedicated to ending cancer for life through innovative research and patient care. The Research Technician will support the work of Dr. Josh Jaeyop Lee in developing personalized T-cell therapies and will be responsible for laboratory support, performing specialized techniques, and data management.

Responsibilities
Prepare and maintain lab equipment, instruments, solutions, stains, assays, and other essential supplies
Perform specialized techniques, such as cell culture, transfection, viral production, T-cell cultures, PCR, Western blotting, DNA extraction
Conduct animal studies involving working with immunodeficient mice, xenografting, and monitoring treatment effects after T-cell injection
Record and analyze research data, prepare reports, and provide insights to the research team
Assist peers and researchers with ongoing projects, fostering a team-oriented, supportive environment
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in biology, chemistry or life sciences
Experience with cell culture, transfection, viral production, T-cell cultures, PCR, Western blotting, and/or DNA extraction
Comfort working directly with animal models is required for this role
