Responsibilities
Join an active Propel PLM implementation alongside external implementation partners and internal teams
Serve as the primary internal PLM SME after go-live, owning enhancements and system governance
Translate business requirements into functional specifications and high-level technical designs
Partner with global stakeholders including IT teams in India, manufacturing teams in the US, and product stakeholders
Provide functional guidance on PLM configuration including BOMs, product structures, and change workflows
Support internal developers by reviewing designs, assisting with troubleshooting, and ensuring architectural alignment
Participate in solution reviews, roadmap planning, and ongoing platform optimization
Document workflows, requirements, and best practices to support scalability
Qualification
Required
7–8+ years of PLM experience
Strong expertise with Propel PLM
Techno-functional background with the ability to collaborate with developers and architects
Proven experience translating business needs into technical and functional deliverables
Strong communication and documentation skills
Experience supporting hardware, networking, or product-focused organizations preferred
Ability to support early morning collaboration with India-based teams (6–10am PT overlap recommended)
Comfortable serving as the lead internal SME post-implementation
Preferred
Previous work with Propel implementation partners or professional services teams
Manufacturing or manufacturing operations experience
Salesforce platform experience (Propel is Salesforce-based)
