Kalitta Air is seeking a Parts Expeditor for their Powerplant Division. The role involves routing and tracking engine parts through the production process, ensuring timely communication with various departments to avoid delays.

Responsibilities

Responsible for routing and tracking of company/customer engine parts through the production process

Allocating components for repair/overhaul (vendor)

Routing engine parts to the appropriate department for in-house repair

Tracking and maintaining a working log for all removed parts, tracking accomplished by work order and locations

Informing management of any parts requirements that may cause delays in production processes

Communicating with the Quality Control Department through the inspection process so as to avoid delays

Expediting any project on the production floor where necessary

Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor

Required

High School Diploma or equivalent

Hold a valid US driver's license

Knowledgeable of computer systems such as Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, etc

Available for flexible hours and weekends

Must have excellent communication skills

Must have good customer service skills

Must have the ability to read, write and understand spoken English

Must have the ability to write routine reports and correspondence

Must have the ability to understand verbal and written instructions
