R&D Engineering Summer Internship (FORGE Program)
Penn State University's Applied Research Laboratory (ARL) is seeking enterprising students for a Summer 2026 engineering undergraduate internship. The FORGE program aims to prepare rising seniors for careers in national security through hands-on research and engineering testing.

Support for engineering testing, data analysis, and data display
Hands-on work in a laboratory environment
Use of multiple computing languages, analysis tools, simulations, measurements
Networking with program sponsors
Qualification
Required
You must be a rising senior
You must be a U.S. citizen to apply
Employment with the ARL will require successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen
Students studying Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Engineering Science and Mechanics, Material Science, and Computer Science are encouraged to apply
