Responsibilities

Define the technical goals and roadmap for the air-gapped GDC platform to maximize user predictability and reliability

Lead architectural simplification efforts to eliminate systemic chaos and stabilize core infrastructure components

Design and implement critical, high-impact features for the core Kubernetes execution environment within stringent air-gapped constraints

Drive technical alignment and decision-making across partner teams to unblock GDC's ability to deploy successfully

Elevate engineering standards and mentor executive staff to ensure delivery of production-ready distributed systems

Required

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience

8 years of experience in software development

5 years of experience with Kubernetes, focusing on large-scale systems development

Preferred

Master's degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field

Experience coding in Go

Experience with the architecture, core services, and operation of public cloud platforms
