Aircraft Electrical Technician II

They are seeking an Aircraft Electrical Technician to join their Aircraft Certification Center team, where the individual will apply electrical engineering principles to design, build, modify, and repair electrical installations for aircraft.

Responsibilities

Read and interpret wiring drawings and technical schematics for cable and harness builds
Route electrical wire in testing and aircraft applications
Set up and operation of standard equipment, and under minimal supervision
Troubleshooting wire harness and avionics applications and installations
Perform as member of team including utilizing effective communication skills and interacts with leadership and customers
Expert understanding of written/verbal instruction methods used by customers
Performs independently on routine technician assignments and general instruction is provided for new/special assignments
May participate in various phases of engineering design effort

Required

Typically requires HS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
U.S. Person is required - Job requires access to ITAR or 600/500-series EAR information or hardware (directly or indirectly) and the company will not seek an export authorization for this role
Basic electrical knowledge including crimping, soldering, wire terminating, and interpreting wiring diagrams is required

Preferred

Familiarity with design and materials quoting for projects
Aircraft wiring experience
Familiarity designing and wiring test equipment and test setups
Aircraft repairman's certificate
Familiarity working around aircraft or building aircraft parts
Fiber optic experience
