Responsibilities
Serve as a key contributor to the bank’s enterprise-wide budgeting and monthly forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities
Partner with business unit finance teams to consolidate inputs and validate assumptions for financial planning cycles
Develop and refine financial models that support scenario analysis, sensitivity testing, and executive-level decision-making
Monitor and interpret financial performance trends, identifying key drivers and providing insights to guide strategic actions
Assist in preparing executive-level presentations that communicate budget and forecast outcomes, including variance analysis and strategic implications
Support the integration of planning tools and systems to improve forecasting accuracy and streamline planning workflows
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistency in financial narratives across internal and external reporting
Contribute to initiatives focused on cost optimization, capital allocation, and investment prioritization
Participate in the enhancement of data governance and standardization efforts across planning processes
Provide responsive, ad-hoc financial analysis to support evolving business needs and strategic initiatives
Qualification
Required
7+ years of related experience in Financial Analysis, Accounting, Finance (GL Mgmt., Public Reporting, Analysis) or similar field
Bachelor's degree in related field required
Previous leadership experience required
Prior Banking experience required
Advanced to expert knowledge of general banking operations, including deposit operations, loan administration, treasury management and/or other commercial banking products and services
Advanced to expert knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules and regulations, industry standards and practices
Advanced to expert knowledge of Microsoft Office with advanced Excel capabilities including Pivot Tables, SUMPRODUCT, INDEX/MATCH, etc
Advanced to expert knowledge of financial planning and analysis concepts, financial reporting and disclosure concepts
Expert speaking and writing communication skills
Preferred
Masters or MBA in related field preferred
Certified Public Accountant preferred
Chartered Financial Analysts preferred
