Responsibilities
Define and execute the product vision and roadmap for Benchling’s small molecule R&D solution, prioritizing features based on market opportunity, customer needs, and business impact
Own the go-to-market strategy for the product, collaborating with marketing, sales, and customer success to ensure successful launch and adoption
Partner closely with customers and field teams to deeply understand our customer’s scientific workflows, pain points, and market trends
Translate domain-specific insights into intuitive, scalable software capabilities with exceptional UX/UI that integrate seamlessly across Benchling’s platform
Collaborate with engineering, design, and data teams to deliver high-quality products on time and measure success using clear product KPIs
Drive alignment across stakeholders, communicating priorities, tradeoffs, and expected business outcomes clearly and persuasively
Qualification
Required
5+ years of software product management experience, preferably with a B2B SaaS product
Proven ability to lead and ship complex product initiatives and drive 0→1 product development
Bias for action and a history of shipping products quickly and iteratively in a fast-paced, agile environment
Knowledge of small molecule R&D or a demonstrated track record of rapidly building domain expertise in a complex, regulated industry
Strong communicator who thrives in cross-functional, fast-moving environments
Empathetic collaborator who can bridge the gap between scientists, engineers, and business teams
