Responsibilities

Research and analyze state regulatory environments, including rate case decisions, policy changes, and commission activities
Maintain and enhance proprietary regulatory databases, ensuring timely and accurate data entry
Track and interpret industry trends, including energy policies and emerging regulatory mechanisms
Collaborate with other teams to produce best-in-class reports, comparative evaluations, and investor-focused insights
Demonstrate a willingness to experiment with new technologies to optimize workflows and deliver superior client value
Build relationships with regulators, utility representatives, and industry experts to support research depth and accuracy

Required

Bachelor's degree in economics, finance, business, engineering, or related fields
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail; ability to synthesize complex regulatory and financial data
Proficiency in Excel and database management; advanced experience in programming languages (Python, SQL) and AI tools is a plus
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to produce clear, concise research for professional audiences

Preferred

Demonstrated interest in the energy industry
Ability to work independently under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
