InternStanley Black & Decker, Inc. is a leading tool company seeking a CNC Intern to join their Consolidated Aerospace Manufacturing team in Berea, OH. The intern will gain hands-on experience with CNC Mills and Lathes, perform quality assurance on parts, and ensure compliance with safety policies.

Responsibilities
Cross-trains on CNC Mills and CNC Lathes
Operates Drill-Press, Bench Grinders, and Buffing Wheels
Deburr parts to ensure they meet blueprint specifications
Reads and interprets work instructions, prints, and job order for product specifications such as dimensions and tolerances, and tooling instructions
Follow all safety policies and procedures
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Must be enrolled in a vocational trade school program from an accredited institution
Ability to read and interpret blueprints
Read basic measuring devices including micrometers and calipers
Must be able to lift between 25 - 35 pounds on a regular basis and occasionally between 35 - 50 pounds
Considerable standing, stooping, and bending is required
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
