Responsibilities
Lead and mentor a team of engineers delivering automation and backend solutions across cloud and on-premise environments
Oversee a portfolio of technology initiatives focused on network automation, distributed services, and infrastructure modernization
Partner closely with product leaders to deliver scalable, cloud-native platforms supporting intent-based networking and automation
Promote continuous learning by exploring new tools, contributing to engineering communities, and guiding team development
Participate in architectural discussions, code reviews, and technical evaluations as needed
Work with infrastructure and colocation teams to identify and automate repetitive operational tasks
Drive initiatives that reduce manual effort, improve system efficiency, and streamline infrastructure operations
Lead cross-team efforts to automate compliance, controls, and governance processes
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
Minimum of 6 years of professional experience in DevOps or related engineering roles
At least 4 years of hands-on experience with cloud-native platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
Strong background in Unix/Linux system administration (6+ years)
Proven people leadership experience (4+ years managing engineering teams)
Preferred
7 or more years of experience in DevOps or platform engineering
Extensive experience with coding and scripting languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript, Go, Bash, Ruby, or similar
Background in infrastructure automation across both cloud and on-premise environments
Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Splunk or Zabbix
Hands-on experience with container orchestration platforms like Docker or Kubernetes
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
Experience working within Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) environments
