Senior Tech Recruiter

Alvys is an early-stage company transforming the nearly $1T US freight industry, and they are seeking a Senior Technical Recruiter to own and drive full-cycle recruiting for their technical organization. The role involves partnering with Engineering, Product, and Design leaders while managing the recruitment process from sourcing to closing candidates.

Responsibilities

Own end-to-end recruiting for technical roles across Engineering, Product, and Design
Partner closely with hiring managers to define role requirements, ideal candidate profiles, and hiring timelines
Manage candidates through the full lifecycle: sourcing, screening, interviews, offers, and close
Proactively source passive technical talent using LinkedIn, Greenhouse, referrals, and creative sourcing strategies
Build and maintain strong pipelines for current and future technical hiring needs
Develop market insights around talent availability, compensation expectations, and hiring trends
Act as a trusted advisor to technical leaders on hiring strategy, interview design, and decision-making
Provide data-driven guidance on tradeoffs between speed, quality, and leveling
Ensure interview panels are effective, consistent, and candidate-friendly
Own technical recruiting workflows in our ATS, ensuring data accuracy and clean reporting
Continuously improve recruiting processes, interview practices, and candidate experience
Track and report on key metrics (time-to-hire, pipeline health, conversion rates, etc.)
Deliver a thoughtful, transparent, and welcoming candidate experience
Serve as an ambassador for Alvys’ culture, values, and mission throughout the hiring process
Partner with People and Marketing on employer branding initiatives as needed

Required

3-5 years of experience in full cycle technical recruiting, ideally in a high-growth SaaS or startup environment
Proven experience recruiting for software engineering and technical roles
Strong sourcing skills with a track record of hiring passive candidates
Hands-on experience using Application Tracking Systems (ATS)
Ability to influence and partner with senior technical stakeholders
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple roles simultaneously
Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred

Experience recruiting across Engineering, Product, and Design
Experience supporting distributed or fully remote teams
Familiarity with leveling frameworks, compensation bands, and structured interview processes
Experience partnering closely with Leadership and People Teams on scaling initiatives
