Responsibilities

Correctly, safely and efficiently equipment operation using computerized controls and physical adjustments for a salt manufacturing and packaging facility
Product quality testing and housekeeping tasks
Equipment troubleshooting to ensure efficient and consistent operation
Brine well systems operation, including injection pumps, storage tanks, valves, etc
Understanding and adhering to all safety rules and regulations
Maintaining a safe and clean work environment
Other duties as assigned

Required

Right to work in the U.S. that is not based solely on possession of a student visa or a visa sponsored by a third-party employer
Cargill requires employees be a minimum of 18 years old to work in a production facility
Ability to communicate in English (written and verbal)
Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 50 lbs, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting safely, with or without a reasonable accommodation
Ability to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above)
Must be able to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc., with the use of personal protective equipment PPE
Basic use of a computer
Ability to work overtime, weekends and holidays with advance notice
Able and willing to work night shifts

Preferred

High School Diploma/GED or a minimum of two years relevant work experience
Able to operate heavy equipment
Forklift certification
Prior experience in production
