Echo Global Logistics is seeking a passionate, self-starter for the Account Executive role in their Sales Operations Department. This role focuses on ensuring outstanding client service, managing relationships, and identifying opportunities to enhance operational efficiency and profitability.

Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional client service by scheduling, booking, and tracking each shipment to its completion across all modes of transportation (TL, LTL, Partial, Flatbed, etc.)

Verify timely pick-ups and deliveries, manage exceptions and service failures proactively with minimal client disruption, and work with sales to execute on requests based on each, individual client

Manage day-to-day client relationships through strong verbal and written communication

Proactively identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency for your team

Develop and implement strategies to drive growth and increase profitability

Maintain current operating procedures and update SOPs when necessary

Quote all modes and leverage margin to drive growth for your sales rep/sales manager

Partner with and mentor Logistics Coordinators to share workload and allow prioritization based on client needs

Be an expert using Echo’s proprietary technology to perform all tasks required to fulfill client requests

Manage account receivables for your accounts and proactively resolve issues when necessary
