The Sales Engineer will act as the primary technical expert during the sales process, designing and proposing technical solutions for battery energy storage systems, while supporting sales growth through customer engagement and collaboration with various teams.

Responsibilities

Serve as the technical lead throughout the sales cycle, providing expertise to the business development and account management teams

Translate customer requirements and RFPs into clear, actionable technical specifications. Use proprietary tools to perform system sizing, identify configurations, and optimize value (e.g., performance modeling, layout, energy density)

Write detailed technical proposals, create project quotes, prepare drawing packages (single-line diagrams, layouts), and develop cost estimates in response to customer inquiries (RFIs, RFQs, RFPs)

Prepare and deliver technical presentations and system demonstrations to diverse stakeholders, including engineers and C-level executives, to explain the product's value proposition

Act as the liaison between the customer, sales, engineering, and project management teams to ensure seamless project handoff and delivery

Lead technical aspects of contract negotiations, including scope of work, performance metrics, and technical documentation

Maintain a deep understanding of company capabilities, target markets, and competitor technologies, providing feedback on customer needs to product development teams
