Payroll & Benefits Manager
Phoenix3 Collective is a collection of boutique culinary and hospitality companies that deliver consistent, brand-driven dining experiences. They are seeking an experienced Payroll and Benefits Manager to oversee payroll processing and employee benefits administration, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and exceptional service to employees.
Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end payroll processing for all employees using UKG, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
Administer and maintain employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, leave programs, and other ancillary benefits
Serve as the primary system administrator for UKG payroll and timekeeping modules
Ensure compliance with wage and hour laws, tax regulations, and benefits-related requirements
Lead payroll audits, year-end processing, and regulatory reporting (e.g., W-2s, ACA, garnishments)
Provide guidance and support to employees regarding payroll, benefits, and deductions
Qualification
Required
5+ years of payroll and benefits management experience
Demonstrated expertise with UKG (preferred)
Strong knowledge of payroll laws, tax regulations, and benefits administration
High attention to detail with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred
CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) or similar certification
Experience managing multi-state payroll
