Responsibilities
Workflow Definition: Define and document common research-based workflows within the insurance domain (e.g., underwriting, claims processing, policy management, and risk assessment)
Evaluation Creation: Develop comprehensive evaluations and test cases to assess the completion of these workflows — including inputs, outputs, and measurable success criteria
Capability Assessment: Design evaluations to assess the LLM’s ability to handle complex insurance-related tasks such as claims analysis, fraud detection, regulatory compliance, and risk modeling
Data Curation & Annotation: Provide guidance on identifying and curating high-quality insurance data and documents essential for training and fine-tuning the LLM
Feedback & Iteration: Collaborate with the product team to provide feedback on AI performance and suggest enhancements to improve accuracy, reliability, and contextual understanding
Qualification
Required
12+ years of professional experience in one or more of the following areas: Underwriting (Life, Health, or General Insurance), Claims Management (Processing, Fraud Detection, Customer Experience), Actuarial Analysis (Pricing, Reserving, Risk Modeling), Insurance Operations or Policy Administration, Compliance & Regulatory Reporting
Open to Entry Level, Mid Level, and Executive Level professionals
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured approach
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex insurance concepts for cross-functional teams
High attention to detail in designing accurate and effective evaluation criteria
Preferred
Basic understanding of AI / ML or experience collaborating with technical teams is a plus
