Responsibilities

Collect, analyze and report on various market data to connect financial outcomes with operational effectiveness
Work with Actuary, MRA, Corporate Finance, Clinical and Market Point internally and Providers/Hospitals/Ancillary externally to drive optimization inclusive of activities spanning decisions required for day-to-day operations to strategic planning and addressing specific business performance issues
Begin to influence department’s strategy
Make decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, and work is performed without direction
Exercise considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments

Required

Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or business related field
3+ years experience in data analytics
Advanced Excel, created formulas, macros, etc., with the ability to create queries for data mining and reporting purposes
SQL proficiency/working in a ‘SQL' environment
Ability to work from home, but must be able to work CST/EST working hours
Ability to manage multiple priorities
Strong analytic skills with attention to details
Excellent oral and written communication skills

Preferred

Experience in medical data analytics
Previous health insurance industry experience
Experience with SAS, Power BI, Azure, Databricks
