Responsibilities

Develop and implement domestic tax planning initiatives including domestic transfer pricing strategies, legal entity rationalization, acquisition strategies, etc., to drive shareholder value
Lead technical tax research, calculation, and documentation efforts related to Federal and State income tax matters
Lead U.S. tax due diligence efforts with respect to potential mergers and acquisitions as well as post-acquisition planning and integration efforts
Lead integration efforts between tax planning, tax reporting, finance, legal, HR, and tax compliance teams to ensure that planning initiatives are properly executed, risks are mitigated, and positions and transactions are appropriately accounted for and reflected in tax returns and ASC 740
Identify, evaluate and implement federal and state credit opportunities including modeling, documentation and coordination with key stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate claims
Support the development and implementation of Tax Department automation initiatives to improve efficiency and effectiveness
Lead projects as assigned

Required

10+ years of experience with a strong technical and applied knowledge base of US federal and state tax laws
Experience with acquisitions and divestitures and demonstrated understanding of complex domestic and international structures
Tax technical skills and experience with US GAAP ASC740 Tax Accounting concepts
Bachelor's of Science in Accounting or related degree

Preferred

Master's in taxation
Big 4 Public Accounting experience or Fortune 500 multi-national company experience & CPA
Financial and/or technology industry experience
