Enterprise Account Executive

Responsibilities

Own the full sales cycle from discovery to close, including pilots, negotiations, and contract execution
Run high-quality discovery conversations that uncover real customer pain and buying intent
Guide prospects through hands-on pilots and evaluations, clearly articulating value and ROI
Manage complex deals with multiple stakeholders across legal, IT, security, procurement, and executive teams
Collaborate closely with marketing, product, and customer success to refine positioning and messaging
Influence go-to-market strategy, deal structure, and sales process as the company scales
Identify expansion opportunities and support long-term customer growth
Bring structured feedback from the field to inform product and roadmap decisions

Required

10+ years of overall professional experience, with 3–5 years in a closing Account Executive role
B2B startup sales experience, preferably at a pre-Series B or early growth-stage company
Experience managing contracts, pilots, and expansion opportunities
Software sales experience or a customer-facing, persuasive commercial role
Ability to master complex subject matter (such as intellectual property) and educate customers clearly
Strong inbound and outbound prospecting capabilities
Experience navigating enterprise buying processes and longer sales cycles
Exceptional communication, storytelling, and consultative selling skills
High intellectual curiosity and comfort operating in ambiguous environments
Strong judgment, ownership mindset, and bias toward action
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment
Comfortable working remotely with teams and customers aligned to EST hours

Preferred

Background selling into IP, legal tech, or enterprise software environments is a strong plus
Advanced degree preferred
