Responsibilities

Support in all aspects of annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, analyzing key metrics and trends, and summarizing for executive level presentations for support areas

Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data, and provide regular reporting on financial performance, variances, and trends

Identify and streamline system operations, reporting, and forecasting processes across the Engineering Finance teams

Collaborate with Operating, HR and Finance leads to tell an effective, concise, and consistent financial story

Support Controllership in monthly and quarterly closes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting of financial performance

Build effective business partner relationships with internal/external stakeholders

Perform various ad-hoc analyses including variance analysis, sensitivities, and other requests from senior management

Manage a direct report, providing leadership, coaching, and development opportunities, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration

Bring a collaborative, hands-on approach to the work, and focus on team members’ careers and professional development

Promote a strong sense of urgency for reaching goals and key deliverables

Develop open communication and productive work relationships with senior leadership, operations leads, and the broader finance team

Required

BS/BA degree Finance, Accounting, or related field

4+ years public and/or private accounting or FP&A experience preferred

Solid financial and analytical skills including the ability to create complex financial models and efficiently communicate results

Must be proficient with MS Office Suite products – particularly advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills

Accounting / GAAP knowledge

Preferred

Team Player with the ability to function in a cross functional environment and willingness to jump into projects to meet department goals

Ability to quickly grasp new concepts and problem solve independently

Solid organization and time management skills; ability to deliver on multiple project assignments, meet tight deadlines and be effective under pressure

Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work and communicate effectively with all levels of finance, operations, and senior management

Continuous improvement attitude, ability to seek out and implement best practices

Entertainment / Media / Technology experience preferred

SAP or Essbase knowledge preferred with exposure to BPC a plus
