Responsibilities
Conduct negotiations with mineral owners to acquire oil and gas leases, mineral purchases or curative documents
Serve as a liaison between oil and gas companies and oil and gas and/or real estate owners
Experts in negotiations and contract drafting with great interpersonal and business skill sets
Establish and maintain contact with multiple landowners in an area of focus
Prepare and negotiate appropriate contracts and agreements to facilitate leasing efforts
Negotiate with mineral owners to obtain leases and extensions/renewals of expiring leases
Compile final lease purchase reports and lease packets
Obtain necessary title documentation to support mineral ownership
Read and plat legal descriptions as needed
Organize required legal documents and present in an orderly fashion
Requires knowledge of property law, estates and trusts, and contract law

Required
Must be ambitious and self-motivated with strong negotiating skills
Attention to detail
Ability to establish priorities, work independently and accomplish objectives with limited to no supervision
Strong written and oral communication skills
Candidate should be proficient in computer skills (MS Windows, Word, Excel)
Gains trust quickly of other parties to effective lead and negotiation
Must be able to work well with others in high stress situations
