Responsibilities
Design of automotive Exterior trim component in a DRE role
Develop and execute Exterior Trim system requirements for Automotive (Cars and SUVs)
Complete and release exterior components, sub-system and detail designs (Bumper, Facia, Cladding, Garnish, Spoiler etc)
Collaborate with key Exterior system and plastic component suppliers and support overall vehicle development milestones and prototype/production build events
Perform feasibility and packaging study
Qualification
Required
Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 5 years of experience in automotive exterior / bumper components and subsystems
Knowledge of Plastic manufacturing technologies
Perform feasibility and packaging study
In-depth knowledge of Plastic tooling and hands on experience in Catia V6 required
Exterior Trim: 5 years (Required)
DRE: 4 years (Required)
Plastic tooling: 5 years (Required)
Preferred
Bachelor's (Preferred)
Automotive engineering: 10 years (Preferred)
