Responsibilities

Contribute to horizontal improvements in server telemetry and management stacks, including system daemons, client libraries, and Borg services

Build vertical features within the telemetry and management stack to support specific New Product Introductions (NPIs)

Modernize legacy systems with innovative approaches to enhance fleet stability and NPI velocity

Maintain and support large-scale fleet systems to ensure continuous operational stability

Develop and integrate automated test infrastructure and suites (unit and integration) optimized for performance across varied hardware configurations

Required

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience

5 years of experience with software development in C++

Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining configuration management solutions for system deployments and updates

Experience managing software release cycles for products or platforms

Experience performing functional testing on software systems

Preferred

Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field

Experience developing embedded systems/firmware design, implementation, and deployment

Experience developing distributed systems that leverage messaging patterns (e.g., RequestResponse, PubSub) and brokers (e.g., Kafka, ZeroMQ)

Experience with server-level protocols and technologies, including Redfish, I2C, PLDM, NVMe-MI, or MCTP
