Sterling Engineering is seeking a hands-on Process Engineer to support product development and low-volume manufacturing operations. This role focuses on designing efficient manual assembly processes, validating production methods, and improving material flow within a mini production environment.

Responsibilities

Provide Design for Assembly (DFA) feedback during product development
Develop manual low-volume assembly lines and equipment
Create work instructions and process documentation
Lead IQ/OQ/PQ process validation
Partner with vendors to design/build assembly equipment
Design layouts and workflows to improve efficiency
Manage material flow and production operations
Develop pFMEAs and risk documentation
Support packaging and pallet planning

Required

Proven Process Engineering experience
Experience with validation, manual assembly, and vendor collaboration
