Human Resources Generalist
VOLK TRANSFER, INC. is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to connect the organization’s strategic goals with its people. This role involves leading HR functions such as talent acquisition, onboarding, employee relations, and performance management to foster a positive workplace culture and ensure compliance with employment laws.

Responsibilities
Assist with job postings, resume screening, and applicant communication
Coordinate interviews and support hiring managers throughout the selection process
Prepare offer letters and conduct new hire orientation
Manage onboarding process to ensure smooth transitions for new employees
Serve as point of contact for employee questions and concerns
Support investigations and document employee relations issues as needed
Promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture
Maintain employee records in HRIS systems
Process personnel changes, terminations, and documentation updates
Prepare reports related to headcount, turnover, attendance, etc
Assist employees with benefits enrollment and questions
Coordinate open enrollment and benefits communications
Work with payroll on compensation changes and audits
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
Assist with policy development and implementation
Support training initiatives such as harassment prevention and safety
Support performance review processes and track completion
Assist with learning and development programs
Maintain job descriptions
Contribute to HR initiatives related to engagement, wellness, and culture
Participate in continuous improvement of HR processes and tools
Qualification
Required
Strong knowledge of human capital management principles and employment law compliance
