Sales Analyst

Responsibilities

Create and distribute weekly sales reports to include weekly sales and trends, market share, new launch performance, space productivity, amongst other ad hoc reporting
Provide actionable data to the sales team to identify and realize all potential business opportunities
Proactively analyze account and market trends, and recap competitive and market intelligence
Analyze data from both syndicated sources (Circana/Neilsen) and customer data (84.51) to generate effective pre-promotion forecasting and planning, and post-promotion analysis to measure effectiveness on a weekly and monthly basis
Assist in developing sales presentations to collaboratively gain account support for innovation and promotions
Present data in a clear, concise and effective manner to all levels of account and sales team
Provide ad hoc reporting for situational analysis, as needed
Participate in category reviews and strategic account planning meetings (KAM, JPB, CPI)
Drive new approaches to analyzing business results and trends
Consistently provide all requested information in an accurate and timely manner
Proactively scorecard and communicate 4 P’s performance (Pricing, Promotion, Product, and Placement) objectives
Support team in the development and implementation of customer strategies that are aligned with overall business strategies and support the achievement of profitable sales and trade targets

Required

3+ years of professional CPG Sales Analyst experience working with large scale brands
Experience working with syndicated data, customer/shopper data
Solid analytical and technical skills in MS Office, Sharepoint and internal sales tools
Skilled at building and maintaining cross-functional relationships internally and at customer level
Ability to develop insight-driven presentations drawing from all available sources
Candidates must possess strong English language skills to effectively communicate with customers and provide exceptional service

Bachelor's Degree preferred
