Responsibilities

Develop a deep understanding of Google’s technical infrastructure and economics behind the significant investments needed to support AI/ML demand and drive long-range planning

Perform benchmark analysis and end-to-end operational assessments to identify efficiency opportunities

Structure and execute insightful analysis on investment recommendations; communicate findings and guide senior management decision making

Help develop and implement processes, tools and governance to drive ML analytics with consistency across TI Finance

Cultivate strong relationships and collaboration across numerous touch points with Alphabet leadership, TI Finance leadership, cross-functional finance, systems and engineering teams

Qualification

Required

Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or another quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience

10 years of experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), consulting, or a related function, or an advanced degree

Preferred

Experience building systems, processes, and governance

Knowledge of the ML infrastructure, current landscape, and strategic priorities

Ability to present complicated analysis, logic, and solutions in a clear and concise manner

Ability to partner with cross-functional stakeholders and help influence decisions

Ability to independently generate and drive initiatives to improve efficiency

Strong problem solving, analytical skills and business judgment to drive recommendations for ML investments
