Responsibilities
Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes
Support and review SEC filings, including 10-Ks and 10-Qs
Serve as a primary point of contact for external auditors
Maintain and enhance SOX controls and documentation
Review journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting schedules
Lead and develop accounting staff while remaining hands-on
Identify opportunities to improve close and reporting efficiency
Qualification
Required
5+ years of accounting experience with direct U.S. SEC reporting exposure
Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and technical accounting
Experience supporting audits and SOX compliance
Preferred
Background in public accounting (Big 4 or large national firm preferred)
CPA preferred
NetSuite experience a plus
