This role is essential in shaping the company's research strategy by providing qualitative and quantitative insights that guide brand development and customer engagement.

Responsibilities

Research Strategy Development: Design and implement comprehensive market research strategies to support enterprise and product-level marketing goals
Brand Health Tracking: Oversee the design and execution of brand studies measuring awareness, perception, equity, and other key indicators
Qualitative Research Leadership: Manage qualitative studies (e.g., interviews, focus groups) to validate product value propositions and explore customer needs
Quantitative Research Execution: Conduct surveys and statistical analyses using tools such as SPSS, Tableau, or Excel to identify trends and insights
Insight Generation: Translate complex data sets into clear, actionable recommendations that influence product, marketing, and business decisions
Vendor & Budget Oversight: Manage external research vendors, oversee budgets, and process SOWs in alignment with internal protocols
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with internal stakeholders to gather requirements, align research goals, and socialize key findings
Persona & CX Research: Lead customer experience and persona development research to support Voice of the Customer and go-to-market strategies
Ad Hoc Research Support: Execute rapid-turnaround research initiatives to support emerging organizational needs

Required

Minimum 5 years of experience leading qualitative and quantitative research initiatives in a corporate or adjacent setting (e.g., consulting firm)
Expertise in survey design, interviews, focus groups, and advanced data analysis
Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with experience translating research findings into strategic recommendations
Proven ability to manage budgets, external vendors, and multiple concurrent projects
Bachelor's degree required (preferably in Marketing, Business, Psychology, Sociology, or a related field)

Preferred

Familiarity with financial services, or experience working in a highly regulated industry (e.g., pharma, insurance), is a plus
