Responsibilities
Perform less complex tasks under direct supervision, such as material management, site escorts, and basic fiber handling/preparation
Assist with fiber cable installation support and learn proper site safety and procedures
Begin training on fundamental fiber testing concepts and equipment, including introductory OTDR operation under mentor guidance
Qualification
Required
Must be available to work 6–7 days per week, 12 hours per day
Must comply with all onsite safety and customer requirements
This is a contract position for 3–6 months with possible extension
Preferred
1+ years of documented industry experience with fiber optic cable handling, placement, or basic installation support
Familiarity with fiber optic testing equipment, including exposure to or foundational training on OTDR use
Basic technical skills and a strong willingness to learn fiber optic principles
