Responsibilities
Lead and mentor pre-construction and estimating teams, ensuring efficient service delivery and enhanced performance
Oversee and review final bidding processes, subcontractor and supplier pricing, and proposals for negotiated and hard-bid projects
Collaborate with the estimating team on final estimates, budgets, and value engineering efforts, creating detailed cost models, budgets, spending forecasts, and schedules
Generate competitive proposals for GMP contracts and present information effectively to subcontractors and team members
Serve as a liaison between clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders, facilitating communication and strategic partnerships
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field
Minimum of 6 years of experience in commercial or railroad construction estimating
At least 3 years of leadership experience overseeing estimating/pre-construction teams
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
Applicants must be organized and able to prioritize
Must be motivated, proactive, and able to problem solve with strong verbal and written communication skills
Multitasking skills are essential
Preferred
Familiarity with construction websites like Building Connected, Blue Book, and iSqFt is a plus
