$22/hr - $22/hrMSR Technology Group is an Inc 500/5000 corporation that has been recognized for its growth over the last seven years. They are seeking a Telecommunications Technician to install telecommunications equipment and perform basic tasks such as rack and stack of equipment and labeling.
Management Consulting
Responsibilities
Installing telecommunications equipment, possibly testing the circuits
Basic rack and stack of equipment and lacing, labeling
Qualification
Required
Some sort of telecom experience
Background in electrical, some in optical
Experience with fiber optic cable, networking experience like working with CAT5 and basic routers and switches
Installation of equipment
Basic telecom tools: screwdrivers, sockets, wrenches, tape measure, electricians scissors, tools for making CAT5/6 connections, wire strippers and crimpers from at least #2-#16 AWG wire
Basic power tools like drills, certain saws, etc
Preferred
Experience in all or any of the telecom-related tasks
Ability to work independently without depending on tech one or tech two roles
