The Intern Service Technician will assist in warehouse operations, manage inventory, and support field technicians by ensuring service trucks are stocked with necessary supplies and tools, while also gaining hands-on experience with HVAC systems.

Responsibilities

Assist in organizing and maintaining inventory in the warehouse to ensure parts and tools are readily available for field technicians

Stock service trucks with necessary supplies and equipment, ensuring that field teams are prepared for their daily tasks

Help with ordering HVAC parts and materials, learning to manage supply levels and track orders for the warehouse

Support warehouse operations by keeping the workspace clean and organized, making it easy to locate tools and equipment

Occasionally assist with basic scheduled maintenance on HVAC systems under the supervision of experienced technicians

Use a variety of hand tools and power tools at a basic level

Maintain positive working relationships with customers, technicians, dispatch, sales, and management

Commit to adhering to safety regulations and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for oneself and others while performing HVAC tasks
