Responsibilities
Set up, operate, and edit CNC programs for optimal efficiency on turning centers with live tooling and 3–4 axis mills
Perform and document first article inspections
Program parts as needed (Mazatrol/Fanuc and G‑code)
Pitch in across the shop and assist/training other machinists and operators
Use precision measuring equipment and fabricate/alter special tooling to produce complex parts
Qualification
Required
5+ years setting up and operating CNC equipment (milling centers and/or live‑tool turning)
Ability to instruct, mentor, and collaborate with operators and machinists
Fluency reading technical drawings, including GD&T, and following verbal instructions
Hands‑on experience with Mazatrol and Fanuc controls and strong G‑code knowledge
Proficiency with precision metrology tools
Ability to fabricate/modify special tooling
Basic computer skills: Windows and Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
