Building Sciences Division Manager

Atlas is a nationwide leader in civil engineering, materials testing and geotechnical consulting services for environmental, industrial and infrastructure construction projects. They are seeking a Building Sciences Division Manager to manage existing staff, projects, and clients, ensuring projects are completed safely and within budget while developing new projects and clients in the New England Area.

Responsibilities

Manage existing Building Science staff, Projects and Clients, to include client communication, project budgeting, technical proposal preparation, contract management, report preparation, report review, project invoicing and assistance with AR Collections
Ensure projects are completed safely in a timely manner and within budget constraints of the project
Work with Atlas team to develop new projects and new clients in the New England Area
Assist in the oversight and mentoring of Atlas staff
Communicate on a regular basis with Atlas staff and management
Abide by Atlas' health and safety policies and procedures and promote the Atlas's Safety requirements to staff, vendors and clients
Regional (New England) travel is required

Qualification

Required

Bachelor of Arts or Science
At least 15 years of experience as staff manager, Project Manager and Business Development in the Building Science field
Accomplished Client Manager with at least 10 years managing clients
Experience with asbestos, mold, and lead related projects
Must have a valid Driver's License, ability to pass a Driver Background Check, and have reliable transportation
Ability to pass a Background Check for work with state and local governments along with defense contractor clients
Ability to multi-task, maintain flexibility, and work independently with minimal supervision
Licensed Asbestos Project Designer, Asbestos Inspector and Asbestos Management Planner
Excellent Technical Writing Skills
Proficient with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and PDF tools
Knowledgeable of a state and federal asbestos regulations, particularly AHERA, NESHAP, OSHA as well as MA and NH asbestos regulations

Preferred

Ability to travel, 15% of the time
Ability to communicate well and work in a team setting
