Responsibilities

Greeting customers, providing a welcoming environment, and guiding them through product selections based on their needs, preferences, and desired effects

Maintaining in-depth knowledge of various cannabis products (strains, edibles, concentrates, etc.), their effects, and methods of consumption to effectively educate customers on safe and appropriate use

Operating a Point of Sale (POS) system, handling cash and debit transactions accurately, managing a balanced cash drawer, and meeting sales goals

Verifying customer IDs to ensure they meet the legal age requirements

Ensuring all sales and job duties adhere to company standard operating procedures (SOPs), as well as state and local laws and regulations

Accurately entering customer information into state-required tracking systems

Required

Must be at least 21 years of age

Must be able to pass a background check in order to obtain, and maintain, a Facility Agent card in accordance with Arizona State Department of Health Services requirements

Strong attention to detail

Knowledge of the cannabis industry

Requires prolonged sitting, standing, walking, bending, lifting, and use of hands

Frequently required physical exertion to manually move, lift, carry, pull, or push heavy objects or materials

Frequently stooping, bending, and reaching

Must work indoors and outdoors year-round

Must work in noisy and crowded environments

Lift 25-50 pounds from the floor to a waist-high table when necessary
