Insight Global is seeking a Manual QA Tester to join a financial industry client’s QA Team. Testers will support the team on software development projects and systems reviews of varying scale following uniform testing protocols, developing and executing test scripts and conducting defect reports.

Responsibilities

Support the team on software development projects and systems reviews of varying scale following uniform testing protocols
Develop and execute test scripts
Conduct defect reports
Participate in requirement reviews
Evaluate and generate test cases
Complete peer reviews
Report test case results
Join team meetings as necessary

Qualification

Software development lifecycleQuality assurance principlesTest case executionAdvanced Microsoft ExcelTesting tools experienceFinancial industry experience

Required

BA in a relevant field or comparable experience/education
4+ years of working experience with software development lifecycle and quality assurance principles and methodologies
4+ years of experience executing and writing test cases
Understanding of structured environments for development, testing and production
Experience or training with one or more of the following tools: Advanced Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, and Microsoft Project or similar tools
Experience testing one of the following: IVR, Mobile applications, Web Applications, Client Applications, and/or Mainframes

Preferred

Financial industry experience
Experience with test management and testing tools such as HP ALM (Quality Center) or Q Test
