Software Integration Engineer

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for our software projects
Automate deployment, scaling, and monitoring infrastructure using tools such as Kubernetes and Docker
Troubleshoot issues related to infrastructure, deployment, and performance
Collaborate with development teams to optimize code for performance, scalability, and reliability
Implement and enforce best practices for security and compliance
Continuously evaluate and recommend improvements to our DevOps processes and tools
Build tools to reduce occurrence of errors and improve developer experience
Perform root cause analysis of production errors and resolve technical issues
Design procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance
Other duties as assigned

Qualification

Required

A bachelor's in computer science, engineering, physical sciences, mathematics, or similar field
At least 8 years professional experience designing and developing application container deployment solutions using docker, docker-compose, Kubernetes, etc
At least 8 years professional experience and fluency in one or more of the following languages: C++, Python
At least three years professional experience building and executing DevOps or DevSecOps solutions using Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) such as gitlab-ci and/or Jenkins
At least 8 years ongoing experience using Linux operating systems to develop software
Strong experience maintaining deployment environments for development, test and production
Detail oriented
Good verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work full-time in-person in Boulder, CO office location
Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance

Preferred

An advanced degree in the physical sciences, mathematics, engineering, or computer science
Experience with OpenShift
Experience implementing features of C++ 14, 17, and 20 standards
Professional experience with Agile software development
A current active DoD SECRET security clearance or higher
