Financial Document Review Specialist

The Financial Document Review Specialist plays a critical role in supporting finance operations by reviewing, validating, and maintaining financial and loan-related documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

Provide professional and timely support to dealer partners by responding to documentation and verification inquiries
Review and validate financial and loan documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with established guidelines
Attach, index, and organize financial document packages, ensuring accurate records of collateral, invoices, and supporting materials
Identify, track, and resolve missing, incomplete, or discrepant documentation
Conduct customer verification calls related to financial documentation and loan proceeds confirmations
Maintain organized, audit-ready files in accordance with internal controls and regulatory requirements
Support and mentor junior team members while assisting with escalated or complex document review issues
Execute reporting tasks and provide departmental support as directed by leadership

Required

2+ years of experience in financial document review, loan documentation, processing, or financial operations
Strong attention to detail with a proven track record of accuracy in document and data review
High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree not required)
Demonstrated job stability (minimum of 1 year in previous roles)
Must live within a 30-mile radius of Winston-Salem, NC
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills
Comfortable with flexible scheduling to meet business needs
Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Financial documentation and verification systems (training provided)

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field a plus
Experience in retail, indirect financing, or financial services
Strong decision-making and prioritization skills
Advanced computer proficiency and customer service experience
