Responsibilities
Design and configure TWS platform
Build and maintain IWS Platform with high availability in AWS
Maintain and support DR and Swing in AWS
Migrate Tivoli Workload Scheduler to AWS
Assess current state architecture of TWS installation in AWS
Migrate platform from AIX to Linux
Establish a DR strategy in AWS
Install TWS in AWS
Manage TWS Platform Support - L1/L2 support resources
Perform advanced administration including designing new solutions, performance tuning, and configuration
Keep up with current Tivoli products and make recommendations for upgrades
Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues
Provide on-call support for Tech Batch Scheduling Tivoli
Administer platform liaising with product vendor for upgrades and security patches
Manage scheduling objects and configure alerts
Manage account IDs for job execution and calendar configuration
Deploy agents into workload servers and support BCP/DR
Qualification
Required
Applicants must be able to work directly on W2
10 years of experience in relevant fields
Advanced knowledge of Tivoli Workload Scheduler 10, including TDWC, Master Domain Manager, Backup MDM, and JSC
Proficiency in UNIX and shell scripting
Familiarity with database technologies, specifically DB2
Strong networking skills
7+ years of experience in Tivoli Workload Scheduler (TWS)
IBM Tivoli Certification
Experience with ServiceNow application
ITIL Certification
Extensive troubleshooting experience
Experience with MS Windows and UNIX
Preferred
Experience in designing and configuring TWS platforms
Experience with AWS, including high availability and DR strategies
Experience with Dynamic Workload Console and agent management
