Responsibilities

Provides leadership and strategic management for all human resources functions at Nebraska Public Media

Leads workforce planning, talent development, organizational communication, and compliance management

Fosters a culture of collaboration, engagement, and excellence

Champions initiatives that enhance professional growth, communication effectiveness, and employee well-being

Ensures HR strategies align with Nebraska Public Media’s mission and values

Supervises HR staff and serves as a key advisor to senior leadership, including the General Manager & CEO

Qualification

Human Resource ManagementEmployment LawsSupervisory ExperienceBusiness AdministrationProgressive HR Experience

Required

Bachelor's degree in business administration, human resource management or related field plus five (5) years of progressive human resources experience, including supervisory responsibilities

Additional years of relevant experience or completed relevant education may substitute for required education/experience on a year-for-year basis

Knowledge of employment laws and human resources principles
