Analyst I
California Department of Motor Vehicles is seeking an Analyst I to join their Learning & Development Branch. This role involves performing complex analytical and coordination work to support learning and development initiatives across the department.

Responsibilities
Conduct analytical and research activities to evaluate the effectiveness of learning and development programs
Develop, manage, and monitor training contracts, including coordination with vendors and internal stakeholders
Maintain and ensure data accuracy within the department’s Learning Management System (LMS)
Generate reports and insights to support program planning and decision-making
Coordinate and manage training materials supporting in-person and virtual training
Provide high-quality customer service, responding to inquiries and resolving issues efficiently
Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure training programs are delivered effectively and on schedule
Qualification
Required
Conduct analytical and research activities to evaluate the effectiveness of learning and development programs

Preferred
Experience working with Learning Management Systems (LMS), including data maintenance, reporting, and troubleshooting
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Microsoft 365 tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint, Teams, Power Automate, Forms, Lists, etc.)
Strong analytical and research skills with the ability to interpret data and make recommendations
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including report and presentation development
Demonstrated interpersonal and customer service skills, with the ability to build positive working relationships
Experience coordinating training programs, contracts, budgets, and logistics
Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing requirements
