Responsibilities

Provide personable and professional interactions with Retail Business Banking customers using proper phone etiquette
To use sound judgment in handling customer problems/issues
To troubleshoot and resolve customer and internal inquiries in a timely, friendly, helpful and accurate manner
Contacts and coordinates with the third party courier for any changes/updates to the courier routes
To process courier drop offs, by logging bags, counting the deposit and making the necessary required teller entries
Record all deposits brought to the processing room by the third party vendor
Responsible for balancing and maintaining offsite ATM’s
Receives and processes customer financial transactions, including deposits, captures images and balances cash drawer and daily transactions
Prepares currency & coin shipments for Federal Reserve
Performs balancing on cash recycler on a bi-weekly basis
Monitors all branch activities to ensure they are in compliance with established Bank policies and procedures; monitors and resolves cash balancing discrepancies and transactional errors
Manage and monitor scheduling and vacation to ensure adequate coverage
Performs a variety of miscellaneous tasks including typing, filing, computer input and answering the telephone
This is an open-ended position, with the start and end time being determined by work flow
To make recommendations for cost efficiencies and enhancements to operating procedures and services, as appropriate

Required

At least three years of previous banking experience
High School diploma/GED and having passed the Bank's internal Teller I written examination
Courtesy, tact, and diplomacy are essential elements of the job. Work involves personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization, generally regarding routine matters for purposes of giving or obtaining information which may require some discussion
Above average ten key calculator and computer keyboard by touch
Good knowledge of computers and ability to master the specific software required for the position, based on the particular branch location and equipment
Detail-oriented and organized
Knowledge of and ability to follow policies and procedures related to position
