Required

M.S or B.S./B.A. with 3 years of direct experience, in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or related field with a strong background in physical sciences
Experience in power systems and/or power electronics
Experience with one or more power modeling tools, such as OpenDSS, SKM, ETAP, PSCAD, Typhoon-HIL EasyPower, Spice circuit modeling, or their equivalent
Proficiency in a high-level programming language such as Python, MATLAB/ Simulink
Hands-on lab experience with hardware: high power measurement and data collection, circuit design, PCB layout/rework, soldering, utilizing test equipment in a lab to test and debug (electronic loads, power supplies, oscilloscopes, signal generators)
Ability to work independently and as part of team
A minimum GPA of 3.5

Preferred

Experience in power circuit modeling, power converter design and controls, battery selection, system integration, and testing, real-time simulations with inverter-based resources (BESS, PV) within microgrids
