Receptionist / Administrative Assistant

Responsibilities

Provide responsive support to all 700+ PeopleTec employee-owners
Assist with a wide range of tasks to ensure smooth daily operations
Provide social media assistance
Assist with inventory for corporate facilities
Coordinate shipping, mailing, and office supply purchasing
Assist with conference room scheduling and meeting support
Provide support to company leadership as needed
Assist in planning and executing all company events
Help with company morale initiatives
Track and coordinate company birthday morale
Help coordinate lunches/refreshments for meetings
Perform clerical duties (copying, filing, distributing correspondence)
Maintain a safe and secure office environment in accordance with FSO guidance
Provide accurate information to internal and external inquiries
Assist with front desk coverage for the corporate office
Greet and assist visitors; maintain visitor logs and badges
Answer, screen, and forward incoming calls
Maintain professional appearance of reception, conference rooms, and other common areas

Required

1+ year in an administrative support role
1+ year experience with Microsoft Outlook (calendar & email)
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
Excellent communication skills (oral & written)
Strong organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills
Ability to remain professional under pressure and in difficult situations
Willingness to work occasional non-standard hours for events
Ability to travel (15%+)
U.S. Citizenship required
Valid driver's license
Must be able to lift/carry/push/pull 25 lbs
Must possess mobility to work in a standard office setting and to use standard office equipment, including a computer
Stamina to sit and to maintain attention to detail despite interruptions
Candidate may be expected to work varying hours to ensure successful operation of activities in the organization

Preferred

Associate's Degree
Previous event planning experience
Proficiency in SharePoint
