Assistant Project Manager
Cache Valley Electric is seeking a sharp, driven Assistant Project Manager to join their team. The role involves keeping mission-critical projects on track, ensuring they run smoothly, stay on budget, and meet quality standards in a fast-moving environment.
Responsibilities
Tackle challenges with strong problem-solving skills to keep projects moving forward
Handle project schedules, budgets, cost control, and subcontractor coordination
Build and update detailed project timelines, working closely with the team to hit key milestones
Spot risks early and create solutions to keep timelines and costs in check
Communicate clearly—both in writing and in person—to keep everyone in the loop with project updates
Work with vendors, contractors and suppliers to manage contracts and keep things running smoothly
Effectively use project management software tools (e.g. Procore, Bluebeam, Accubid/Change Order)
Pitch in on other tasks as needed to help the project and the company succeed
Qualification
Required
A bachelor's degree in construction management or similar
At least 3 years of experience in commercial construction projects; work on hyperscale or mission critical projects preferred
Solid knowledge of construction processes, quality control and design coordination
A knack for working well with all kinds of teams and stakeholders
Software proficiency (e.g. Procore, Bluebeam, Accubid)
Willingness to work full-time, on-site in Amarillo, TX
