Responsibilities

Diagnose mechanical and market issues with strong root-cause analysis
Manage MI reports, MIT updates, Top 10 issues, MR/TSI documentation
Analyze warranty trends and prepare executive-level quality reports
Investigate and validate market claims with accuracy and technical depth
Act as the technical liaison between Global Yamaha Distributors and YMMC
Participate in Genba events, supplier visits, and recurrence-prevention activities
Present market insights to YMMC, YMC, and YMUS leadership
Coordinate with service, parts, sales, and engineering teams worldwide
Create and distribute PIG/SIG documentation and training materials
Support global education events and distributor training sessions
Provide serviceability and market feedback during Cover Match, Kensha, and ‘P’ Gate reviews
Conduct market visits for product evaluation and environmental usage studies
Develop flat-rate data, serviceability checks, and technical presentations
Prepare service planning sheets, project guides, and market surveys

Required

5+ years mechanical experience in motorsports or automotive
Strong diagnostic and hands-on troubleshooting skills
Proficiency with MS Office, CAD/SolidWorks, blueprint reading, GD&T
Bachelor's in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (3–5 years) OR 10–15 years relevant experience
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced OEM environment
Strong coordination, documentation, and technical program management abilities

Preferred

Yamaha service experience (5+ years) preferred
ATV/ROV/GC product knowledge and riding experience desirable
ISO 9001 familiarity is a plus
