Lead partner engagement through proposal development, contract negotiation, and deal closure (including CDAs, MSAs, and amendments)
Execute outbound business development strategies, leveraging both personal industry networks and internal leadership relationships
Represent the company at scientific conferences, industry events, and virtual forums
Maintain close collaboration with senior leadership and cross-functional internal teams to ensure alignment between commercial strategy and execution
Qualification
Required
5Y+ expertise in BD positions, within a Pharma/Biotech or CRO environment
Advanced educational background - PhD, MSc, MBA, especially within Chemistry
Proven deal history, including leading negotiations and closing multiple high-value (>£/$5M) commercial agreements
Established network of senior decision-makers within pharma and biotech
Preferred
Candidates across the East Coast (especially MA) will be preferred - Bay Area (CA) is also desirable
